Hello and greetings from Estonia! I´ve recovered an old steirische harmonika or something very similar and I´m in the beginning of restorating it. There seems to be very little information regarding makers name, model, factory etc.. I´ve found a date 13.1.38 I believe is the birth of this instrument or selling date. Can you help me identify this masterpiece? Pictures are here: http://pilt.delfi.ee/album/302525/

Sorry but all we know is that there was a builder of steirische with this name or only a reseller that had this name. "Musikhaus Paul Sistemich in Herzogenrath"

This Box is not original, a lot of signs are viewable that the box was refitted.

reed blocks look like the ware original with one reed less in each row.

Most Reeds are old reeds older as 1938.

Soundboard of the treble side looks much newer as the bass section or the frames.

Bass buttons arrangement and look is like the modern "vienna type" layout.

All in all, sure there have been a lot of modifications done to this box over the time.

It may even be the case that the box is set up from parts of more as two other boxes.

Best regards, Johann Pascher
